Letter of Recommendation – Chad of All Trades

As a developer of commercial properties throughout Southern California, I have interacted with numerous contractors over the years. Having constructed in excess of three million square feet of commercial projects, I am well aware of contractor commitment and ability in all areas of the construction process. This letter of recommendation should not be taken lightly. I have only written such a letter once in my career.

Short story:

While remodeling my personal residence to surprise my wife who was shortly returning from a hospital stay, my regular contractors of many years ran into scheduling problems. Unable to provide sub-contractors to complete the job, at the recommendation of Gina Salyer, a Coldwell Banker real estate agent who had used Chad of All Trades personally as well as for her clients needs in the past, I called in Chad Arendsen to look over the situation. I had to leave town for a week and it is not like me at all to leave open ended decisions in a contractor’s control. It was important to me to have my wife return with the house completely redone as a sign of my commitment to her to encourage her recovery. I felt very comfortable with Chad from the start so I took a chance and hired him.

Result:

Chad turned the site into Extreme Makeover. Electricians, cabinetmakers, audio specialists, landscapers, floor finishers and workers all pulled together to get the job done. I returned home not expecting to have all the work completed, as I prioritized the tasks. To my surprise, all the work was finished. Audio outside, living room, front and rear yards, master bedroom surround sound, fireplace mantle, bookcases in the living room, bedroom and kitchen eating area, lighting on all of the art work, new landscaping, all done and done right.

It would have been wonderful under normal time frames but to have my home turn out so beautiful in such a short time required an extraordinary effort and commitment by Chad. His dedication and work ethic is his greatest trait. I have complete confidence recommending Chad of All Trades to you. It’s always the man that counts. You can count on Chad and his word.

Fabulous! Absolutely Fabulous! The travertine looks SO GOOD!!! Thank you so much. Dean did such a good job in laying the stone. Every piece is lined up so nicely I could not be happier! Oh my gosh! How can I ever thank you for the great work that you did on my house? It looks just great Kody did a great job painting the bedroom and closets. Curt did a fantastic job with all the stripes in the living room plus painting the chair railing and baseboards when there was a change in midstream as the color; Donnie …well he was awesome in installing my door what a horrendous undertaking with walls way out plus the screen works better than ever and the work he did on the chair rail, baseboards and quarter rounds in the Kitchen. Then along came Shelton to do the last bit of painting, the ceilings… and the nice fellow that you sent out to check out the lack of power in the kitchen – tall fellow I’m sorry I forgot his name. Whoops! One more, Ryan who repaired the stone, and the finished the door. And last but not least Kadee. She’s the best. I so appreciated her scheduling my work in. Jennifer was great too! A very nice group of people. I truly appreciate all of you.

I’ve not had work done before, but Chad you are terrific! You made sure all was well! Thank you Big Time. The dinner at Belle Fleur was divine my friend says to thank you very much. She really enjoyed it.
