About Laura

Laura’s design style is livable luxury, and the spaces she provides are calming, inviting and practical for everyday living. Laura spends a great deal of time getting to know her clients so that their homes are an extension of who they are.

Laura Abrams Design is an award-winning boutique interior design firm located in San Diego, California. LAD specializes in high-end residential design and is passionate about guiding and educating its clients through the journey of home design.

“Having children of my own has been especially helpful when working with clients who desire a beautiful home that is also durable, comfortable, and above all, livable.”

Laura studied interior design at Florida State University and received a Post-Graduate Specialization in Interior Design at the Interior Design Institute in Milan, Italy.

She has worked abroad in London and completed projects in Canada, Miami Beach, Telluride, Hilton Head, California and many places in between.

By the age of 29, Laura was named one of South Florida’s Top 100 Design Visionaries by Florida International magazine.

In 2010, Laura and her family moved to San Diego, where she continued her career designing homes throughout Southern California. She works closely with COAT to implement one of a kind designs.
