About David

David has always been interested in how things are built. He used to watch home building shows instead of cartoons on Saturday mornings when he was young. He would spend summers on his family’s farm in Pennsylvania. Since it was hot and there was no AC, he stayed in the basement. There weren’t any rooms down there, so he framed his very first wall at the age of 10. To this day it is still standing! By 15 he had remodeled his mom’s house including setting tile in two bathrooms and one complete shower. 

He moved into being a general contractor pretty quickly and was comfortable performing all trades himself. He spent 15 years in the trades before moving into a managerial role. He has built homes from the ground up, torn down and rebuilt homes, built and ran a custom cabinet shop. To date he has managed over $20 million in completed construction projects. 

He’s known Chad for over 30 years. They met in elementary school. He says working with COAT is a super positive and supportive work experience. He notes that Chad has a ton of high energy and is a great leader. “He is very passionate about what he does, our projects and our clients. It is really great to be surrounded by a team with the same principles and goals.” 

David is a devoted father of two girls, loves to golf, swim, go on vacations, spend time with his family, build lego sets, and coach his daughters swim team.
